Suitable for 8 - 11 year olds
If your young person has a hobby they like to share with others, this is a great opportunity to put together a short ‘act’ .
There will be time in the morning to share and practise their skills and for some of the older ones to help organise a show and be comperes or sound technicians which will be put on in the afternoon.
In between all this and for those who prefer not to take part in the show there will be a range of activities like Parachute games, Bouncy Castle and football for those who prefer to be active in this way.
Our friendly team of leaders will guide, support and encourage in whatever skill they have, from playing the piano, juggling, dance or telling jokes to showcasing a piece of art they have done or a sculpture made from Lego.
There is no pressure to put on an act in the show and young people are welcome to choose from a range of activities on offer during the day.
There is something for everyone.
We run two Summer Schemes in the first two weeks of the school holidays, one for young people just finishing Year 2- Year 7 and a Teen Scheme for those finishing Year 8 to Year 10 offering a wide range of activities and trips either based at or run from the Sacred Heart Community Hub.
