Suitable for 12 - 17 year olds
A highlight of our Summer Scheme is our family orientated trip to the beach.
The Teens join with the larger group on the Summer scheme and Young People can attend with our volunteer leaders or you can book on as a family.
We ask all attendees to join us for a brief meeting on the Beach with a safety talk by one of the local Lifeguards before we go and have a paddle or dip in the sea depending on conditions and abilities.
Swimmers must be strong and able swimmers and stick within strict boundaries marked out by our leaders.
Less confident and Non swimmers can paddle up to their knees and have a good splash too.
Our friendly team is on hand to lead games and activities on the beach, offer support and make sure that everyone feels included and safe.
Whether your young person wants to get active with beach games, chill out with friends or have some fun at the fair.
There is something for everyone.
We run two Summer Schemes in the first two weeks of the school holidays, one for young people just finishing Year 2- Year 7 and a Teen Scheme for those finishing Year 8 to Year 10, the latter offering a wide range of activities and trips run from the Sacred Heart Community Hub.
