One of our most popular destinations is a trip to Conkers.
An award winning visitor attraction situated in the heart of the National Forest.
A day of adventure and discovery is in store for all the young people who visit Conkers, It focuses on fun for young people and families.
It hosts a forest-themed adventure that includes a barefoot walk, adventure play area, a fairy labyrinth and activity course.
Young people can take a ride on the Conkerchoo train between the Discovery and Waterside Centres and try out their performing skills on the amphitheatre stage.
From the great outdoors to the great indoors, Conkers hosts a 4D cinema experience and numerous hands-on activities helping visitors get a better understanding of the natural world surrounding them.
Our friendly team of Volunteers will guide small groups around the venue offering support and encouragement and ensuring all are included.
There is something here for everyone.
We run two Summer Schemes in the first two weeks of the school holidays, one for young people just finishing Year 2- Year 7 and a Teen Scheme for those finishing Year 8 to Year 10 offering a wide range of activities and trips either based at or run from the Sacred Heart Community Hub.
