South Staffs Leisure Centres – Gym sessions
South Staffordshire Council’s leisure centres (Cheslyn Hay, Codsall, Penkridge and Wombourne) are providing discounted access into the gyms for 13-17 year olds which will be available from Monday 28th July to Friday 29th August. The cost of accessing the gyms is £1 per 1 hour session.
1-hour gym sessions available every weekday.
Young people will be required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring a towel and water.
Young people must undergo a pre-booked gym induction. Contact your nearest leisure centre to arrange your induction. A parent/guardian will be required to sign a permission form prior to the young person attending the induction.

13 year olds can attend the gyms at any time but must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian (18 years+). 13 year olds are only permitted to use CV machines. The use of weights is not permitted.
14-15 year olds can attended supervised ‘Active Youth’ sessions independently; or they can use the gyms at any time when accompanied by a participating parent/guardian (18 years+). When using the gym during Active Youth sessions the young people can use fixed weights up to a maximum of 5kg. When using the gym outside of Active youth sessions, weights use is not permitted.
16 years+ can use the gyms at any time and can use CV, weights and free weights.
